The basics

You can register with the last 4 digits of your social security number

You will receive a mail ballot 

Register online with your Nevada home address.

Indicate where your mail ballot should be sent to you at https://www.nvsos.gov/votersearch/ 

  • October 8
    • deadline to register
  • November 5
    • Election Day

Nevada does not require ID to vote. You can register to vote with the last 4 digits of your social security number

Register by October 8

Most campuses should have some kind of in person registration drive where you can fill out the form

  • Print out registration form and mail it to your county Clerk or Registrar, postmarked by October 8

  • The second page of the form has a list of addresses for the county clerks/registrars

With Nevada ID, you can also register the same day you vote, in person nvsos.gov/sos/elections/election-information/same-day-registration

VOTE

If you are registered in Nevada you will automatically receive a vote by mail ballot at your registration address

Completed mail ballots must be received by 7:00 p.m. on Election Day if submitted in person, or postmarked on or before Election Day and received no later than 5:00 p.m. on the fourth day after Election Day. Track your mail ballot at: nvsos.gov/votersearch/

You can bring your completed ballot to a secure drop box. Locations and hours will be in your mail ballot packet.
